Executive presence is an umbrella phrase which people use to describe everything from a professional’s persona, to their communication style, to their ability to hold their own in a large meeting. In fact, it is part of all of these things, and more.

To persuade an audience, the vast majority of speakers rely on the wrong thing: logic. While building your case in a clear, value-added manner is important, it is less than half the story. Neuroscience has unequivocally proven that decisions are mostly made in the subconscious brain; and trying to influence someone’s thinking, perception, reactions or decisions without taking that into account is like trying to drive a car with only 2 gears. It could be dangerous to your cause.
This course looks at the conscious and subconscious drivers to decision-making; how your listeners are likely to process your information and how they are likely to respond. In addition to value-add, benefits, features, pros and cons, and all the other traditional ways of building your case, you will learn to speak to the questions, concerns and needs of your audience beneath the surface and address what truly drives the way they think, feel and act. This exponentially increases your ability to inform, share your story, build bridges and call people to action.

Your personal brand is how people see you, think of you, feel about you and make decisions that could impact your future. Whether you are a corporate executive up for promotion, an entrepreneur, social media personality or a public figure, your personal brand helps determine how you are able to fulfill on your goals and ambitions.
There are five Archetypes of an Effective Leader™. Each Archetype represents different aspects of your abilities and has its own value and purpose. Each Archetype calls forth its own unique set of responses from the people around you. While the most respected leaders display all the Archetypes in abundance, most people primarily rely only on one or two of them. The good news is, while it’s human nature to lean toward just a few of the Archetypes, we all possess every one of them. In the Personal Branding Program, you will identify the primary Archetypes you’ve been displaying to the world around you and gain the ability to draw on each Archetype at will, to make the biggest difference in the situation at hand.
Using this model and other proven techniques, this program helps identify your current brand through an in-depth exploration of your core strengths and other qualities and the way they are likely to be perceived by people - both consciously and subconsciously. We also create the brand you choose by asking how you’d like to be perceived and affect your environment. Based on this, you will be given strategies and techniques to authentically convey yourself in the manner you desire, in large and small settings, alike. This happens on multiple levels:

DIFFUSING TENSE SITUATIONS
In today’s workplace it’s impossible to completely avoid tension between colleagues in an organization. Urgent tasks, pressure and digital communication often lead to misunderstandings, feelings of disrespect and resentment. In addition, the volatility of the world around us more quickly activates peoples’ fight or flight response in the deepest primal regions of the brain, raising our guards and making us more likely to experience heightened fear and anxiety...and react accordingly.
While occasional tension in the workplace is quite natural and understandable, at heightened levels it contributes to high turnover, increased sick days, lower productivity and plummeting morale. This environment is conducive to more mistakes and slower reactions in times of crisis. It can also prove to be an obstacle in acquiring top talent.
Our methods include confidential private conversations with all actors involved, as well as expertly facilitated group discussions, as needed. In these meetings, proven techniques are applied for diffusing tension in relationships, departments and throughout an organization. These techniques include mediation, empathy skills, rebuilding trust, stress reduction and improving communication structures and flow. Participants also learn to identify and fix communication breakdowns before they exacerbate, thus guarding against reoccurrences in the future.

This coaching takes you through a variety of interview scenarios, using feedback and tips directly from CEOs, HR Directors and other hiring decision-makers in various industries. You will rehearse interviews and gain crucial experience so the process is no longer new or scary to you.
